Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She was a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politically slanted report about the 2012 Benghazi attack "the most regrettable mistake of my 10-year-watch." She joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019, a conservative media company. The company was acquired by Fox Nation in January 2020. Fox News runs the subscription streaming service. She stated she was "dumpedby the network in March 2022. Logan was news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989), then for the city's Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she became an executive producer at Reuters Television Africa. After four years, she began freelance journalism. Reporter/editor/producer assignments for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all given to her. CNN was her home, where she covered events like the 1998 United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the war between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
